Dear Members and Supporters
On behalf of the EBSA Board of Directors and the Polish Billiards and Snooker Association (PBSA), I have pleasure in inviting you to send players to take part in The U16, U18, U21, and Men/Mixed Championships that will be held in Lublin, Poland from 1st to 14th April 2022. Full information and details are contained in the attached documents.
PLAYERS:
From Monday the 3rd of January 2022 you will find on the EBSA website www.ebsa.tv
the Entry Form and Travel – Accommodation Form which need to be filled in as instructed for a maximum entry of:
‐ Five (5) players for the Under 18’s Championship (players must be U18 on 31st December 2021).
‐ Five (5) players to the Under 21’s Championship (players must be U21 on 31st December 2021).
‐ Five (5) players to the Men/Mixed Championship (players must be aged 13 at start of the event).
‐ U16 Championships. Following completion of the U18’s Championship group matches, sixteen players (decided using results from the U18’s Championship) who are under the age of 16 on the 31st December 2021 will also be entered into the U16 Championships. This competition will be played over one-day with players being seeded using the U18 group matches ranking list.
Please use the username and password that you’ve received to fill in the forms ‘Online’. All participants including referees and supporters must be on the Travel‐Accommodation form.
CLOSING DATE FOR PLAYERS ENTRIES: Monday 28th February 2022 (Midnight, GMT)
Very important: Players Entries must be paid to the EBSA before the closing date and entries will not be confirmed if payment is not received by Monday 28th February 2022 (Midnight, GMT) Please refer to the updated EBSA Championship Conditions for further information.
REFEREES: A maximum of 28 international referees will be invited by the PBSA. Referees’ accommodation will be available starting from the 31st March 2022. Any referees wishing to have single occupancy will be required to pay 50% of the full cost of a Twin room for the duration of their stay. Accommodation will be provided on a Bed & Breakfast basis, with 2 referees sharing a room. One additional meal per day will be provided. Referees travelling to Poland will receive an allowance (€300) to help them with their travel costs. Referees must be members of the EBSA and will be confirmed by the EBSA Referees Committee. Please remember to enter referee’s information to the online Travel and Accommodation Form. CLOSING DATE FOR REFEREE NOMINATIONS: Sunday 30th January 2022.
COACHING COURSE: There will also be an EBSA Coaching Course with PJ Nolan held during the 2022 EBSA Championships, from the 4th to 7th April 2022. If any of your members are interested, you should request them to complete and submit the attached nomination form and return to me.
