2021 SBI Amateur Snooker Championship

Snooker & Billiards Ireland have just announced the details of the 2021 Irish Amateur Snooker Championships. This year the championship will be played in four qualifiers in the four regions in Dublin, Leinster, Munster and Connacht to qualify 16 players for the final stages.

This championship is open to all ages, genders and abilities to find the 2021 National Amateur Champion who will follow in the footsteps of the legends from our sport.

Please Note:  *****

SBI announced earlier this month that Darcy McGees Snooker Club was unable to host the Dublin qualifier. Roadstone SC in Dublin had stepped in and hold the Qualifier. SBI were then contacted by many members about entering the event but feared a long day if many entered.

SBI have agreed with the Pioneers SC and Roadstone SC in Dublin that the top half of the draw will now be held in Roadstone SC and the bottom half in the Pioneers SC.

SBI would also like to thank Roadstone SC and Pioneers SC for allowing the event to be held in their clubs and with 4 tables in each club the event will run smoother on the day. Roadstone SC want to remind everyone that their complex will be closed on the day but snooker club access will be available on the day for players and officials.
