Snooker & Billiards Ireland (SBI) would like to announce they will hold a test re-open event in Darcy McGees Snooker Club in Dublin on Saturday the 25th of September. This event is open to the first 32 players to enter. Another event will be held in the West in Tralee Snooker Club in Kerry on the same day.
SBI have extended SBI membership for all members who had paid their membership on line for 2019-2020 season with an extension up to December 31st 2021.
PLEASE NOTE – Closing Date
The closing date for this event will be 10am on the morning of the tournament. The draw will be done live in the Club at 10.00am and play will start at 10.30am. Shane Mason will be TD on the day.
Domestically we hope to get snooker re-started with our National Championships a priority. A new calendar has been announced in line with Government guidelines and the support and advice from Sport Ireland.

Entry Fee
The entry fee for all players is set at €22.00. All players must be Registered as you can only enter if you are a member. Yearly and one event registration is available on the online SBI system.

A full breakdown of the prize fund will be displayed in the venue on the day.
How To Enter
To enter this event, please text 085 2428701, with your 1. Name, 2. Club, 3. Date of Birth, 4. Confirm fully Vaccinated, 5. Name of the Event you want to enter. (Without all information, you will not be entered in the event).
Closing Date
The closing date for entries will be 10am on the morning. The draw will be done in the club on the morning of the event at 10am.
Format
The TD will be Shane Mason . All matches will be the best of 5 frames including the final.
Dress Code
This Event will be played in polo shirt / Pants – No Jeans / Runners.
Memberships
Membership can be purchased on line, under 21 membership is €12.00 and over 21 yrs old membership is €17.00. If you would just like to buy a one day/event membership you can avail of this for €7.00 but please remember this will expire 2 days after the event.
