The Republic of Ireland Billiards & Snooker Association would like to announce this morning Ger Murray offered his resignation as acting chairman of RIBSA, effective immediately. Ger cited ongoing health issues as the reason for this course of action.
The president Jim Leacy on behalf of RIBSA accepted Ger’s resignation and thanked him for his work in the role at a trying time in our association. He wished Ger well dealing with his health problems and noted he will continue in his role as national Children’s Officer.
RIBSA Disability Officer Dylan Rees has agreed to accept the position until the AGM.
