The second RIBSA / IBSF Under 18 Snooker Ranking of the season will be held in the Darcy McGees Snooker Club, Dublin on Sunday the 29th of March.

Players will have to first pay their membership and register for the season. When they register, they will be asked to create a username and password before they will be allowed to enter an event. Any issues with entering they should email info@ribsa.ie.

Please Note: Any player who has already paid their yearly RIBSA membership must redo this process on line and they will be refunded when they arrive at the tournament.

The Juniors entry fee will be €11.00 plus Reg. Trophies will be awarded to the winner and runner up of plate event.

It promises to be an exciting final event for our young talented players looking to qualify for the World IBSF Under 18 Snooker Championships later in the year.

Full Qualification System for IBSF Under 18 Championship
The Republic of Ireland Billiards & Snooker Association have announced qualification for the 2020 IBSF World Under 18 Championships.
RIBSA will hold three International IBSF Ranking tournaments plus a National Championship. These events are open to all the underage players and if any player loses their first match on the day they can play in a plate event on the same day.
- Format
The IBSF International events will be the best of 5 frames including the final and the Plate event will be the best of 3 frames including the final.
- Closing Dates
The NEW closing date for entries will be the the morning of the event at 10.00am and the draw will be then published on the ribsa web site at 10.15am. Action Starts at 10.30am.
- Entry Fee
The entry fee is €11.00 plus Reg. Trophies will be awarded to the plate winner and runner up of the three events and a prize fund will be awarded for the International events.
- Tournament Director
This structure will be organised by our National Coach PJ Nolan who will be the Tournament Director. This Qualification will run from February to May to qualify players for the IBSF Championships.
- All juniors can qualify
All juniors have an extra chance to qualify for the IBSF events through the Senior Rankings as RIBSA will give the highest ranked junior on the senior ranking a qualifying spot at the closing date. This is to encourage more juniors to compete in our senior events.
