The third RIBSA Under 16 Snooker Ranking of the season will be held in Newbridge CYMS on Sunday the 22nd of March. It promises to be another exciting event with the players trying to qualify for the Celtic Challenge and Home International Junior Team.
PLEASE NOTE (players must be under 16 on 31st December) Players should be less than 16 years old on the 31st December 2019. Players born in 2004 and after are eligible.
Enter On Line
You must enter on line for all RIBSA events via the new on line payment system.

Players will have to first pay their membership and register for the season. When they register, they will be asked to create a username and password before they will be allowed to enter an event. Any issues with entering they should email info@ribsa.ie.
Please Note: Any player who has already paid their yearly RIBSA membership must redo this process on line and they will be refunded when they arrive at the tournament.

It promises to more another exciting year of junior snooker with so many young talented Junior players looking to qualify for the Celtic Challenge, Home Internationals and World U-16’s.
Full Qualification System for Home Internationals & Celtic Challenge
The Republic of Ireland Billiards & Snooker Association have announced qualification for the 2020 HIBSF Home Internationals and Celtic Challenge Teams. RIBSA will hold three International Ranking tournaments plus a U-16 National Championship.
Format
The RIBSA U-16 events will be the best of 5 frames including the final. A plate event will be also held for first round losers on the day.
Closing Dates
The NEW closing date for entries will be the the morning of the event at 10.00am and the draw will be then published on the ribsa web site at 10.15am. Action Starts at 10.30am.
Entry Fee
The entry fee will be €11.00 plus Reg. Trophies will be awarded to the winner and runner up of the three events
Tournament Director
This structure will be organised by our National Coach PJ Nolan. This Qualification will run to May to qualify players for the Home Internationals and Celtic Challenge.
