Rodney Goggins from Liam Mellows SC won the 5th RIBSA Masters Ranking event of the new season “ Executive Pensions Cup” sponsored by Nigel Power on Sunday the 1st of March 2020 in the Ivy Rooms Snooker Club, Carlow.
In the final Rodney beat John Torpey from St Johns Limerick 3-2 in a great match. In the Semi Finals Rodney beat Stephen Walsh 3-0 and John beat John O Sullivan 3-1 in the other Semi.
Rodney also had the high break with a 106 in the event. RIBSA would like to thank the Ivy Rooms SC Carlow for hosting the event and to all the players on making it such a big success.

Please Note: Any player who has already paid their yearly RIBSA membership must redo this process on line and they will be refunded when they arrive at the tournament.
On-Line Payment System
The RIBSA Masters players will have to enter on line via the new on line payment system.
Enter Via – On-Line Payment System
Players will have to first pay their membership and register for the season. When they register, they will be asked to create a username and password before they will be allowed to enter an event. Any issues with entering they should email info@ribsa.ie.
The 2019 – 2020 RIBSA Master Snooker Ranking Series will feature 6 Ranking events and the National Snooker Championships this season. These rankings will be used to select the master International players.
Please Note – Closing Dates
The closing date for all Masters Tournaments this coming season will be 1pm on the Saturday before the tournament. The Draw will be posted on the website as soon as possible.
Entry Fees
The cost of entry for Masters Tournaments will be €21.00 plus RIBSA registration of €17.00.
Waistcoats must be worn for all matches. National Waistcoats are not permissible. Shane Mason will be the TD for the event.

Tournament Prize Fund
Players are asked to note that the prize fund for tournaments in 2019/20 season will depend on number of entries less tournament expenses.
Prize fund and expenses will be announced on the day at each event. Expenses will include payment of Tournament Director, Referees and payment of €2 per player to host club.
