The third RIBSA ladies ranking event of the season took place in Roadstone SC, Dublin and for the 3rd time this year the final was contested between Tanya O’Neill and Michelle Sherwin.
The first frame was close with Michelle winning it on the pink. Michelle took the next frame on the blue. Despite some superb pots and a few nice little breaks by Tanya in the 3rd frame Michelle managed to win the frame to win the match 3-0. Tanya showed her practice is paying off, looking very solid in her game today.
Many thanks to Stephen Merrigan, Anto and all at Roadstone for looking after the ladies today in such a wonderful facility.
Today’s tournament was dedicated to the memory of current Ladies Intermediate Champion Leah Brady who passed away recently.
Leah will be sadly missed by everyone; she was a wonderful person; dedicated to her snooker and a true champion in every sense of the word.
