Rodney Goggins from Liam Mellows SC in Wexford won the third RIBSA Masters Ranking event of the season ” The Ivy Rooms Classic ” sponsored by the Ivy Rooms SC in Carlow on Sunday the 1st of December in the Ivy Rooms Snooker Club, Carlow.
In the final he beat Mark Tuite from St Johns Limerick in a good final 3 frames to nil to lift the title and make it two victories in a row for the Wexfordman after he had won the Senior 2 event last week in Dublin.
In the Semi finals Rodney had a 3-1 victory over Dylan Rees from Youghal while Mark had a 3-0 win over James Bateman from Kilkenny Shed in the other semi final. The Tournament high break also went to Rodney with a 85 break.

On-Line Payment System
This was the last RIBSA Masters event where the players were allowed to text in their entry and pay entry fee on the day. Now all players can ONLY enter on line via the new on line payment system. CLICK
All players must enter all remaining Masters events via the new on line system.
Enter Via – On-Line Payment System
Players will have to first pay their yearly membership and register for the season. When they register, they will be asked to create a username and password before they will be allowed to enter an event.
Only then will players be able to enter a RIBSA Masters Tournament.
Please Note: Any player who has already paid their yearly RIBSA membership must redo this process on line and they will be refunded when they arrive at the tournament.

The 2019 – 2020 RIBSA Master Snooker Ranking Series will feature 6 Ranking events and the National Snooker Championships this season. These rankings will be used to select the master International players.
Please Note – Closing Dates
The closing date for all Masters Tournaments this coming season will be 1pm on the Saturday before the tournament. The Draw will be posted on the website as soon as possible.
Entry Fees must be paid on line before closing date
The cost of entry for Masters Tournaments will be €21.00 plus RIBSA registration of €17.00.
Waistcoats must be worn for all matches. National Waistcoats are not permissible. Shane Mason will be the TD for the event.
Tournament Prize Fund
Players are asked to note that the prize fund for tournaments in 2019/20 season will depend on number of entries less tournament expenses.
Prize fund and expenses will be announced on the day at each event. Expenses will include payment of Tournament Director, Referees and payment of €2 per player to host club.
