First RIBSA National over 50’s Snooker Tournament of the season was held on Saturday the 9th of November in Newbridge CYMS.
In the final former professional player Eugene Hughes beat Stephen Merrigan from Roadstone SC 3 frames to 1 in a high-class final.
In the Semi-Finals Eugene Hughes beat Brian McPhee from Potters Drogheda 3-1 while Stephen Merrigan beat Jim Carrick from Newbridge CYMS 3-2.
