The Republic of Ireland Billiards & Snooker Association have two Seniors Irish Teams competing in this year’s Home Internationals in the Northern Snooker Centre in Leeds.
The RIBSA Seniors are the defending Champions after winning this prestigious team title for the past two years and again both teams are among the favorites for the title here in in Leeds.
The Senior Team 1 of Aaron Hill, Brendan O Donoghue, Robert Murphy and Ryan Cronin and Senior Team 2 of Greg Casey, Philip Browne, Philip O Connor and Aaron Holland begin their matches on Friday night.
The action begins with group matches before semi-finals and finals will be played in a new format this year.
Ireland A : Aaron Hill, Brendan O Donoghue, Robert Murphy and Ryan Cronin
- In their first match the Irish team beat Scotland 9-3
- In the second match Ireland beat Wales 8-4
- In the third match Ireland lost to England A 3-9
Ireland B : Greg Casey, Philip Browne, Philip O Connor and Aaron Holland
- In their first match the Irish team beat Isle of Man 7-5
- In the second match Ireland drew 6-6 with N. Ireland
- In the third match Ireland drew with Wales A 6-6

The Men’s & Masters Championship will be held from the 9th – 12th of August and the Under 16 and Under 21 Championships will be held from the 12th – 15th of August. The Billiards will be held from the 15th -17th.
