Former Professional and Irish Snooker Champion Michael Judge from Dublin won @rokit UK Seniors Snooker Championship Qualifier 2 in Northampton this week.
In the event the Irish Champion had stunning victories over a number of top-class opponents including former Professionals to claim the title. It has been a great start for our RIBSA Players on this senior tour with Rodney Goggins winning event 1 in Belgium last week.
The final was an all Irish final when Michael beat former Pro Leo Fernandez 4-3 in an all action match coming from 2-4 down and 68 behind but the Dubliner made a 75 clearance and a crucial 31 clearance to win 4-3.
Michael will now compete against Ken Doherty, Jimmy White, Stephen Hendry and Rodney Goggins plus other legends from the 24th – 25th of October in the World Seniors UK Snooker Championships which will be televised live from England.
