The Republic of Ireland Billiards & Snooker Association held another successful RIBSA Summer Camp in the Ivy Rooms in Carlow on Thursday 20th and Friday 21st of June.
The RIBSA Summer Camps are held each year to allow our members train in a camp with our National Coach who is also a WPBSA Coach and Head of Coaching in the European Billiards & Snooker Association.
A variety of ages from our members in Junior, Intermediate, Masters and Senior levels attended this years summer camp with our National Snooker Coach PJ Nolan.
PJ used his alignment laser to help go get the players into a good address position and worked on their cue actions to cue smoother to deliver the cue more consistent using his 360 Cue, Blade Cue and new EBSA Coaching Balls.
National Coach PJ Nolan said ‘’ He was delighted with the turn out and he was impressed with the talent on show and he hoped the players enjoyed the camp.
The players also received a sports psychology booklet to get them get into the winning zone for the coming season. All the players were excellent and listened very hard to improve their games.
