David Causier from England won the 2019 Irish Billiards Open in association with World Billiards, RIBSA and the Ivy Rooms in the Ivy Rooms Snooker Club in Carlow on Sunday 19th of May.
Causier was in fantastic form hitting breaks of 347, 289, 192, 190, 179u, 177, 166, 152, 152, 132, 131, 130, 119, 113u, 113, 111, 106, 101, 100 to reach the final where he beat Martin Goodwill from England who himself had the highest break in the event with a stunning 438 break.
In the final Dave Causier scored 511 to Martin Goodwill 281 to lift the title.
