The final of the 2019 RIBSA National Under 21 Snooker Championship will be between Mark Gleeson from Nenagh and Aaron Hill from Cork after both players played fantastic snooker in Ivy Rooms Snooker Club in Carlow on Sunday the 14th of April.
In the first semi-final Mark Gleeson from Nenagh played Ryan McGuirk from R&R SC and this match went to final black in the deciding frame and it was Mark Gleeson who potted it to reach his first National Final.
In the other semi-final Aaron Hill from Cork played Ronan Whyte from Northwest SC, Ronan won the opening frame but the current European Champion won the next three frames to reach his third Junior Final this year and set up a superb final during RIBSA Championship finals weekend from the 10th-12th of May in the Ivy Rooms SC in Carlow.
The current High Break stands at 101 by Ross Bulman. National Coach PJ Nolan was the Tournament Director on the Day and he thanked Ivy Rooms SC for hosting this National Championship plus all the players for playing in this year’s U-21 Championships.
- Final Qualifier
This was the final event to qualify our players for the World IBSF U-21 Championships in China and the Home Internationals in Leeds. RIBSA will announce the players and teams later this week.

A special word must go to our RIBSA Juniors Aaron Hill and Ross Bulman on their fantastic performance in the recent World Professional Qualifiers in England this week where Aaron pushed Gerard Green and Ross pushed Jimmy White all the way in two great matches. Well done Boys.
