Another great event in the Irish North-South Challenge series. At the end of Saturday’s play, the North had a convincing, though not unassailable lead of 8 points, which they maintained for the first two of Sunday’s sessions. By taking two points out of the deficit in the next session the South kept their hopes alive going into the fourth session of the day, which was also the last, and deciding session of the tournament. By sharing points in this final session, the North ensured victory therebywresting the trophy back from the South team.
