The final of the 2019 National RIBSA Irish U-14 Snooker Championship will be between Aaron Smith from Potters SC and Leone Crowley from Cork after both played fantastic match-play snooker in the Newbridge CYMS Snooker Club on Sunday the 24th of March.
In the semi-finals : No. 1 seed Leone Crowley beat Adam Quinn from Edenderry SC 3-1 while No. 2 seed Aaron Smith beat Martin Eastwood 3-0 in the other semi.
In the Q Finals : Leone Crowley beat Ronan McGuirk 3-2, Adam Quinn beat James O Connell 3-2, Martin Eastwood beat David Farrelly 3-0, Aaron Smith beat Clayton Cregan 3-1.
National Coach PJ Nolan was the Tournament Director on the Day and he thanked Jim Carrick and Newbridge CYMS for hosting this National Championship plus all the players for playing in this year’s U-14 Championships.
The current high break is 88 by Leone Crowley and the National U-14 final will now be played during RIBSA finals weekend during 10th -12th of May.
