In the last 64 round Ross Bulman, Aaron Hill got a bye into the last 32, Mark Gleeson had a great 4-2 win over Maxim Ene from Romania but the match of the night was an all Irish battle with Noel Gleeson and Noel Landers and both boys were fantastic.
The match was very close and young Gleeson had a chance on the black in frame 6 when seven ahead to win it, but Landers potted the black and the re-spot to level the match and then won the decider to give victory to the Youghal man 4-3.
