Irishman Mark Tuite lost in the last 16 of the 2018 IBSF World Snooker Championships in the Grand Mercure Hotel, Yangon, Myanmar last night when he was beaten 4-3 to the No.7 seed Li Jian Bing from China.
Mark fell 0-2 down but came back strong to lead 3-2 but his Chinese opponent came back again to win the match 4 frames to 3.
Well done to all the RIBSA players in both events and every player gave it 100% and the standard again was very high all week here in Myanmar. Well done Team Ireland !!!!!!

In the last 32 Greg Casey Crucible SC was beaten by Thanawat Tirapongpaiboon from Thailand after the Thai made a number of breaks including a new tournament high break 140. Ross Bulman Youghal CYMS played excellent but was beaten by Pankaj Advani from India 5-3
Noel Landers Youghal CYMS failed to qualify despite playing good snooker and all three gave it 100% and they should be proud of themselves. In the Last 48 knock out rounds Ross beat Manan Chandra from India 4-2 and Greg beat Lee Daegyu from South Korea 4-1.

In the last 32 Mark beat Christian Hochmayer from Austria 4-0 but John lost 2-4 to Paul Thomerson from Australia. In the last 48 Anthony Bonnar was beaten by Zaw Than Htik from Mayanmar 3-2 after Bonnar missed match Pink ball for 3-1 win.
