Michelle Sherwin won the Republic of Ireland Billiards & Snooker Association first Ladies ranking event on Sunday the 23rd of September in the Ivy Rooms Snooker Club Carlow.
In the final Michelle beat Cathy Hunt from Wexford 3 frames to nil in a superb match.
RIBSA would like to thank all the girls for entering and Event 2 will be held in Celbridge on the 28th of October.

RIBSA Ladies Events
The closing date for all Ladies Tournaments this season will be 11.30am on the Sunday morning of the tournament. The Draw will be then posted on the website. National waistcoats are not permitted to be worn at any Ladies Tournaments.

Tournament Format
The Republic of Ireland Billiards & Snooker Association (RIBSA) have also announced they will hold two events on the same day with an Intermediate level and a Senior level ranking tournament depending on entries.
Depending on the numbers Knock out Format and Round Robin Format will be used and this will be decided the TD on the day.
There will be Trophies for Intermediate Winner and Runner up in each event and a Shield for Intermediate No.1 at end of season. The Senior events will be restricted to players who have made a 30 break in competition. There will be no trophies for Senior events.
