The National Billiards Championships, preliminary rounds down to the last two, took place at Celbridge Snooker Club on Sunday, 25th March 2018. A total of 13 players contested the event, which meant that the top three seeded players were awarded byes into the quarter finals. The re-draw for the National RIBSA U-19 Snooker Championship was made today. This event will now be held in the Ivy Rooms Snooker Club, Carlow on Sunday the 1st of April. Michelle Sherwin won the 2018 RIBSA Ladies 6 reds Championship in Q’s Snooker Club on Sunday 11th of March. Ger Murray was the TD on the day. The matches were played on a round-robin basis.
