The fifth day of the Under 21 European Snooker Championships saw Ross Bulman from the Republic Of Ireland playing Tyler Rees from Wales in the semi final this morning in the Ramada Hotel here in Sofia Bulgaria.
Ross started off on fire with a 77 break and he then won the next two to lead 3-0, back came Tyler to win the fourth frame to put Ross 3-1 at the interval. After the Interval the welsh player kept the pressure on Ross to win the next four frames to seal the win 5-1.
Tyler Rees from Wales lost in the final to Simon Lichtenberg from Germany with the winner getting a 2 year Pro Ticket for 2018/2020 Seasons.
Well done to Ross on a fantastic performance in both the U-18 and U-21 European Championships. He was the youngest semi finalist today and the future is looking good for Ross and Irish Snooker.
The Men get under way tomorrow with Stephen Bateman, Brendan O Donoghue, Greg Casey, TJ Dowling and Noel Landers and RIBSA wish them all good lick in the Championships.
