To celebrate the 2017 European Week of Sport from the 23rd to the 30th of September. The Republic of Ireland Billiards & Snooker Association (RIBSA) will offer free entry to the first RIBSA Under 14 and Under 16 Snooker ranking tournaments.
The first Under 16 ranking event of the season will be held in the Ivy Rooms Snooker Club on Saturday the 30th of September and the first Under 14 event of the season will be held in Newbridge CYMS on Sunday the 1st of October.
This promotion is to encourage as many young juniors to enter and help promote the game within the clubs around Ireland. The players will still need to fill in their yearly registration form for 2017-2018 and pay the fee of €5.00. The forms will be available on the day for the players who have not done it already.
The closing date for entry into both events is Friday the 29th of September at 1pm.
