Young Noel Landers from the Republic of Ireland continued his fantastic form on Day 5 in the last 16 of the 2017 World IBSF Under 21 Snooker Championships here in Beijing China. Noel Landers beat Dylan Emery from Wales coming back from 2-4 down to win 5 frames to 4 to reach his first major International Q-Final.
The Youghal cue man played a fantastic final frame making numerous small breaks and putting colours safe to keep his advantage on the score-board by not allowing his talented opponent a chance back into the frame.
Noel will now play No.3 seed Zhang Jiankang from China in the Q-Final at 3pm local time against in another best of 9 frame match. Noel would like to thank everyone at home for all the texts and good wishes and our National Coach PJ Nolan said Noel will give it 100% effort and focus later on today.
You can follow all the live scoring and results from China on www.ibsf.info and on www.ebsa.pl
Good luck Noel !!!!!!
