The opening Ceremony of the 2017 World IBSF Under 18 Snooker Championships was held in the Tian Tan Hotel in the amazing city of Beijing China tonight the 7th of July. The world’s finest U-18’s juniors will battle it out for the world title from the 8th -12th and from the 12th – 16th the World Under 21 Championship will be held.
The RIBSA U-18 players are Noel Landers, Darragh Cusack and Ronan Whyte all three will also compete in the World U-21’s along with Shane Bates and Aaron Holland. They will be guided by our National Coach PJ Nolan in China. RIBSA Chairman Jim Leacy is the IBSF Vice President and is the Team Delegate.
RIBSA Referees Neil Shanahan and Don O Donoghue will in action this week at the IBSF Championships in China and RIBSA wish everyone the best of luck in China.
