On behalf of the IBSF Board of Directors and the Egyptian Federation of Billiards Sports, I have the pleasure of inviting you to send your players to participate in the IBSF World 6 Red (Women & Men) and Team Snooker Championship (Women, Men & Masters).
Please enter your player’s names and details into the IBSF web site using the password emailed to you. Online entry will open on 16th June. Closing date for entries is 10th July 2017. Please note that your player picture should not be less than 300 dpi.
Each country is allowed to send 2 Teams of 2 players in Men, 4 Teams of 2 players for Women and 2 Teams of 2 players for Masters. Each country is allowed to send 2 players of Men, and Women for the 6 Red in addition to the players from the Team event. Each region is allowed to send the winner and runner-up of their continent 6 Red Championship both Men and Women.
Entry fee will be US$ 70.00 per Championship per player and to be paid to the EFBS General Manager before the start of the Championships.
Player & referee meeting to be on 1st August at 6 & 6:30 pm followed by the opening at 8pm. The Championship will start on 2nd August with 6Reds over 4/5 days. This will be followed by team Championships with final on 10th August 2017.
The IBSF will qualify 3 players from the last 4 in the 6Reds to the SangSom 6Reds in Thailand. The ‘Calendar of events’ will be published on the IBSF web site.

PRIZE MONEY
Minimum: US$ 25,000.
The minimum prize money of each event is as below:

Woman $3000 Women $3000
It is hoped that the EFBS will be able to increase this prize money if sponsorship is confirmed.
The free day:
A free sea trip that includes lunch is offered free of charge to all “World Champion” title holders and “Regional Champion” titleholders beside International referees and delegates. The EFBS is currently doing efforts to cover all participating players and will announce once confirmed with the tourism promotion authority.
