RIBSA National Coach PJ Nolan held a Festival of Snooker on the 27th & 28th of May in the Ivy Rooms Snooker Club in Carlow from 11am – 4pm. The Republic of Ireland Billiards & Snooker Association (RIBSA) invited any RIBSA member to attend a training day with PJ.
PJ coached all the players on his academy routines to improve their Long Potting, Break Building and he held Tactical games to improve their safety games.
RIBSA Chairman Jim Leacy said he was delighted to see so many young talented players attend which included four time Irish National Junior Champion Ross Bulman. RIBSA hope to hold this festival each year with PJ who is one of the World’s leading snooker coaches.
2017 Mens National Champion Brendan O Donoghue also called in to give advice to Ross Bulman, Edmond Flanaghan, Aaron Smith, John Fitzpatrick, Jack Sheridan, Fionn Comerford, Paddy Brady, Alex Currid, Tom O Driscoll, Rodney Goggins and Stephen Walsh who attended the two days training.
