The Republic of Ireland Billiards & Snooker Association have just released details of the 2017 Championships finals weekend which will be held in the Ivy Rooms Snooker Club in Carlow from the 5th – 7th of May.
Action will begin at 2pm on Friday 5th of May with the last 16 of the Mens Senior Championships and followed with the Q Finals at 6.30pm. The RIBSA Masters, Intermediate, Junior Snooker & Billiard National Championships National finals will be then played over the weekend to crown the 14 National Irish Champions.
STREAMING
Four tables will be live streamed from Carlow and it promises to be a fantastic Championship with so many top talented players looking for the Senior, Masters, Intermediate, Ladies, Billiards and Junior titles.
DRESS CODE
Players must be properly dressed for all RIBSA Finals Weekend. The dress code is dark shoes, dark coloured trousers (no jeans), one coloured shirt buttoned at the wrist, waistcoat and bowtie. Waistcoats and bowties must be worn for all matches. National Waistcoats are not permissible.
CURRENT HIGH BREAK
The High break stands at 118 by Philip Browne and RIBSA would like to wish all the players good luck during finals weekend.
