The Republic of Ireland Billiards & Snooker Association Senior Snooker Championships qualifying rounds were held in the Ivy Rooms Snooker Club in Carlow on Saturday and Sunday the 29th and 30th of April.
The top half of the draw was played on Saturday and the bottom half of the draw was played on the Sunday. Both days was played down to the Q-finals stages to qualify 16 players.
The Last 16 will be played on Friday 5th May at 2pm and the QFinals, Semi Final will be played along with RIBSA Masters, Intermediate, Junior Snooker & Billiard National Championships National finals from the 5th – 7th of May during RIBSA Championships finals weekend in the Ivy Rooms SC.

DRESS CODE
Players must be properly dressed for all RIBSA Finals Weekend. The dress code is dark shoes, dark coloured trousers (no jeans), one coloured shirt buttoned at the wrist, waistcoat and bowtie. Waistcoats and bowties must be worn for all matches. National Waistcoats are not permissible.
