Youghal SC Ross Bulman will play his team mate Noel Landers in the final of the 2017 RIBSA National U-21 Snooker Championship which was played today in the Ivy Rooms Snooker Club, Carlow on Saturday the 22nd of April. It promised to be an exciting event with the National U-21 Champion receiving a place at the World under 21’s Championships later in the year in China and Ross Bulman was on fire early on with two amazing centuries 114 and 125.
In the Semi Finals Ross Bulman beat Stephen Bateman 3-0 and Noel Landers beat Adam Fitzgerald 3-1 in two fantastic matches. National Coach PJ Nolan was the Tournament Director on the day and all the matches were the best of 5 frames.
The final will be played during RIBSA finals weekend on the 6th or 7th of May. The high break stands at 125 by Ross Bulman

Format for 2016/2017
The entry fee is €10.00. Registration Fee U-21 €10.00 and U-16’s €5.00 – Proof of age required.
Three RIBSA ranking events plus National Championship will be held with each winner receiving a ticket to the World U-18 Championships.
Please note : The closing date for all RIBSA Under Age Tournaments will be 1pm on the Friday before the tournament. Waistcoats are required for all events however National waistcoats are not permitted.
Play will begin at 10.30am and the Draw will be on the RIBSA Web Site @ 4pm
