Ryan McGuirk will play Ryan Banum in the final of the 2017 National RIBSA U-14 Snooker Championship after both players played outstanding snooker in the Ivy Rooms Snooker Club, Carlow on Saturday the 8th of April.
In the semi final Ryan McGuirk beat Patrick Daly 3 frames to nil while Ryan Banum beat Joe LaCumbre 3 frames to 1 in two fantastic matches. RIBSA Coach Declan Quinn was the Tournament Director and the final will be played during RIBSA finals weekend on the 6th and 7th of May.
Ryan Banum currently holds the high break with a superb 63 break. RIBSA would like to thank all the players, TD Declan Quinn and the Ivy Rooms SC for hosting the event.

The National U-14 Champion will receive a place on the Celtic Challenge team.
Format for 2016/2017
The entry fee is €10.00. Registration Fee U-21 €10.00 and U-16’s €5.00 – Proof of age required.
Please note : The closing date for all RIBSA Under Age Tournaments will be 1pm on the Friday before the tournament. Waistcoats are required for all events however National waistcoats are not permitted.
Play will begin at 10.30am and the Draw will be on the RIBSA Web Site @ 3pm
