Ross Bulman from Youghal CYMS won the third RIBSA / IBSF U-18 Snooker Ranking event of the season in the Ivy Rooms Snooker Club, Carlow on Saturday the 1st of April. In the final Ross Bulman beat Mark Gleeson from New Institute SC 3 frames to 1 in a superb match to lift the title.
In the two great semi finals Ross Bulman from Youghal CYMS beat 3-1 against Ronan Whyte from Northwest SC Letterkenny and Mark Gleeson from New Institute SC beat Dylan Keightley from the Ivy Rooms SC 3 frames to 1.Ross also won the high break prize with a 46 break in the final.
It has been a very exciting season of U-18 Snooker with the winner of each of the three Events plus the National U-18 Champion receiving a place at the World under 21 Championship in China. Aaron Hill has won Event 1. Noel Landers won Event 2 and now Ross has won Event 3.

Our National Coach PJ Nolan was be the Tournament Director and Ger Murray was the Referee in action. RIBSA would like to thank the Ivy Rooms SC for hosting the event. All focus now switches to Sunday the 23rd of April for the RIBSA U-18 National Championships in the Ivy Rooms SC.
Format for 2016/2017
The entry fee is €10.00. Registration Fee U-21 €10.00 and U-16’s €5.00 – Proof of age required.
Three RIBSA ranking events plus National Championship will be held with each winner receiving a ticket to the World U-18 Championships.
Please note : The closing date for all RIBSA Under Age Tournaments will be 1pm on the Friday before the tournament. Waistcoats are required for all events however National waistcoats are not permitted.
Play will begin at 10am and the Draw will be on the RIBSA Web Site @ 3pm
