Everyone involved in Irish snooker will be saddened to hear Rose Doherty the mother of the 1997 World Champion Ken Doherty from Dublin passed away yesterday. The Republic Of Ireland Billiards and Snooker Association would like to offer their very deepest sympathy to Ken and his family at this sad time.

Removal on Wednesday morning to Church of Mary Immaculate, Refuge of Sinners, Rathmines arriving for 10am Funeral Mass followed by burial at Dean’s Grange Cemetery.
