Four Republic of Ireland players remain in the 2017 EBSA Men’s Snooker Championships in the Hilton Hotel Nicosia in Cyprus after the last 64 stage. Philip Browne was beaten 1-4 by Felix Frede from Germany this morning but Philip should be very proud of himself and the way he played this week.
Good news for the other four as Michael judge won 4-3 on the pink against young Niel Vincent, Brendan O Donoghue beat Maris Volajs Latvia 4-1, TJ Dowling had a great 4-2 win over Duncan Bezzina from Malta and John Farrell played a great match to beat Nathan Davenport from Wales.
