St Patricks Day was a great day for Republic of Ireland snooker player John Farrell when he beat Jackson Page from Wales to qualify for the QFinals of the 2017 EBSA Men’s Snooker Championships in the Hilton Hotel Nicosia in Cyprus tonight.
In the last 16 round John beat the current World & European U-18 Champion Jackson Page 5 frames to 3 and will play Andres Petrov from Estonia at 10.30am tomorrow in the QFinals
Unfortunately Brendan O Donoghue lost 2-5 to Andres Petrov from Estonia after the Nenagh man went 2-0 up and Michael Judge lost 2-5 to Jamie Clarke from Wales in a great battle. All the boys have done amazing and everyone will cheer on John tomorrow.
