Ireland’s Charlie Sweeney was knocked out in the last 16 of the 2017 EBSA Under 21 Snooker Championships in the Hilton Hotel Nicosia in Cyprus by Tyler Rees from Wales 4 frames to 2. Charlie made 45 and 64 breaks to lead 2-0 but the former Euro Under 18 champion from Wales fought back to win the next four frames
Charlie, Stephen, Adam and Noel played amazing this week and they played their hearts out but came up short today. All the focus now turns to the Men’s Championships when Michael Judge, Brendan O Donoghue, TJ Dowing, John Farrel and Philip Brown will be playing on day 1 on Monday.
