Republic Of Ireland’s Aaron Hill lost in the Semi-Final against World U-18 Champion Jackson Page from Wales in the 2017 EBSA Under 18 Snooker Championships in the Hilton Hotel Nicosia in Cyprus this afternoon.
Aaron won the opening frame, back came Jackson to level, the irish boy then went 2-1 up before his opponent came back to win the next three frames to knock out the young irishman. Jackson Page went on to win the title 5 frames to 3 to add to his World U-18 Title.
Aaron also won the high break trophy with his 102 break earlier in the event.
Aaron played amazing and everyone are so happy and proud of his performances this week. The future looks good as he is now focused on the up coming National Championships in Ireland. National Coach PJ Nolan said that he was fantastic and the best is yet to come for this young cork player.
