Earlier in the day TJ Dowling was beaten by Mohammad Bilal from Pakistan 5 frames to 3. TJ started great and built up a 2-0 lead, back came his opponent to level at 2-2. TJ potted the pink to go 3-2 only to see the cue ball go in to pocket, the Pakistan player then went 4-2 up but Dowling fought back to 3-4 but he ended up losing 3-5.
In the QF Michael will play the winner of Soheil Vahedi from Iran or Lukas Kleckers from Germany at 10am local time and the match is being live streamed from Doha.
