Two Irish senior players remain in the 2016 IBSF World Men’s Snooker Championships here in the Al-Sadd Stadium in Doha after great victories tonght for TJ Dowling and Michael Judge but Jason Devaney was beaten.
Michael Judge the No.5 seed played Antonis Poullos from Cyprus and Judge found himself 0-1 but the Dubliner fought back with great snooker to win 4-1. TJ Dowling is seeded No.18 and he played Ajeya Prabhakar from the USA and the current national champion had breaks of 83, 51 and 81 to win 4-0
Jason Devaney played Simon Lindblom from Sweden in the last 78 and the Mayo man won it 4-1 with good quality snooker and then he faced Ex pro player Thanawat Tirapongpaiboon from Thailand but his Asian opponent won tight frames to win 0-4 to knock him out.

Michael will play Former World IBSF Champion Muhammad Asif from Pakistan and TJ will play Mohammad Bilal also from Pakistan on Sunday Morning at 10am local time.
