RIBSA held the second Under16 ranking event of the season in Newbridge CYMS on Saturday 19 November. There was a great turnout of 20 players coming from all over the country. The standard of snooker was very high all day with from all entrants and the future of Irish Snooker is safe for a long time to come.
Aaron Hill beat Ross Bulman in a thrilling final by 3 frames to 1. Ross Bulman won the high break with 90,he also had an 84 in the same match.

RIBSA would also like to thank James Bateman Tournament Director for making the event a big success.
The top four players at the end of the season will qualify for the Home Internationals in Leeds in August 2017. The top six players at the end of the season will qualify for the 2017 Celtic Challenge at the end of June.
Format for 2016/2017
The entry fee is €10.00. Registration Fee U-21 €10.00 and U-16’s €5.00 – Proof of age required.
Five RIBSA U-16 ranking events will be held plus an U-16 National Championship this season to qualify our players for the International Team.
Please note : The closing date for all RIBSA Under Age Tournaments will be 1pm on the Friday before the tournament. Waistcoats are required for all events however National waistcoats are not permitted.
Play will begin at 10.30am and the Draw will be on the RIBSA Web Site @ 3pm on the 18th of November.
