Irish Professional Sports Coach Liam Moggan from Coaching Ireland will join our RIBSA National Coach PJ Nolan in holding a two day RIBSA level 1 Coaching Ireland Education Course in the Ivy Rooms Snooker Club in Carlow on Saturday and Sunday the 8th and 9th of October.
This two day training course is for ONLY for RIBSA members who have completed the Intro Level course in the past. This level course covers the coaching skills in helping the coaches identify what is needed to start training players to a level 1 standard.
RIBSA have agreed to provide lunch on both days plus € 50 travel subsidy for any coaches living outside Co Carlow who attend the coaching seminar.
All the Coaches will also need to attend a sport partnership 3 hr basic awareness course and attend the ISC Childrens Officer Course that are organised by their local sports authority through the Irish Sports Council. The coaches will also need to be Garda vetted before being presented with the Level 1 Accreditation Certificate.
All the coaches must be paid up members of the Republic of Ireland Billiards & Snooker Association for the 2016 / 2017 season and membership forms will be available on the day. The two day Level 1 Course starts at 10am and runs until 1pm. Lunch is from 1pm-2pm and Restart at 2pm until 6pm.
