The first day of group matches are being held today for the Irish Juniors playing in the World IBSF U-18 Snooker Championship here in Mol in Belgium.
Nine RIBSA players are now competing in the Championship with Ross Bulman, Noel Landers, Charlie Sweeney, Darragh Cusack, Shane Hourihane, Sean Devenney, Eamon Harkin, Fergal Quinn flying the flag and this morning young John Landers entered the event due to one Russia player non show.
The players will play group matches over the next few days and three qualifiers will qualify from the groups to play knock outs rounds to find the 2016 World Champion.
As National Coach I am delighted with the player’s attitude and I know we will obtain good results this week here in Belgium. You can find all Full Results, Live Scoring, Groups on the IBSF Web site CLICK HERE
