The Republic Of Ireland Senior and Master Snooker Teams had a mixed day on day 3 in the Northern Snooker Centre in Leeds in the 2016 Home Internationals Snooker Championships.
Masters Event
RIBSA Masters players Tom O Driscoll, Dylan Rees, Keith Sheldreck and Brendan Thomas lost to England B 7 frames to 5 in the morning and in the final session of the day they lost to Scotland B also 7 frames to 5.
The team will play Wales in their final match tomorrow at 11.30am
Senior Event
RIBSA Senior players Michael Judge, Rodney Goggins, TJ Dowling and Jason Devaney played three matches today but the opening session saw the team lose to Scotland 8 frames to 4 but the team recovered to beat Wales B 8 frames to 4 and beat N. Ireland 9 frames to 3.
The Irish Senior team is now level with Scotland on matches won, frames won and frames lost. If they can beat England and Scotland fail to beat Wales in the morning then Ireland will win the title.
