RIBSA held the final day of their training weekend with National Coach PJ Nolan to prepare our RIBSA players for upcoming International Snooker & Billiard Events on Sunday the 31st of July in the Ivy Rooms Snooker Club in Carlow from 11am- 4pm.
All Home International Senior, Masters, Billiards, Under 21, Under 16 players plus IBSF U-18 & U-21 players were invited to come to the two day camp to help improve their mind fitness and overall game.
On Sunday the 31st of July, PJ coached the players on various training routines to improve their Break Building, Long Potting, and Safety plus he worked on their playing techniques.
In attendance were Ross Bulman, Rodney Goggins, Andrei Deaconescu, Noel Landers, Grace Park, Matheus Pontarolli, Tom O Driscoll, Charlie Sweeney, Aaron Goldrick, Noel Gleeson, Mark Gleeson and Stephen Bateman. All the players recieved a special handout from PJ to help them with their mental approach and some practice routines to prepare for their up coming championships.
High Breaks
The high break on the day was Stephen Bateman with a superb 134 (Maguire Break), other top breaks were Rodney Goggins 102 (Maguire Break), Tom O Driscoll 111 (Maguire Break) Charlie Sweeney 105 (Maguire Break), Ross Bulman 96 ( Hendry Break)
