2016 World IBSF U-18 & U-21

RIBSA have confirmed the RIBSA players for the 2016 IBSF World Under 21 Championships and the IBSF World under 18 Championships which will be played in Belgium from August 15th to 25th.

Full Details on the events

On behalf of the IBSF Board of Directors and the Belgian Billiards & Snooker Association (BBSA), I have the pleasure in inviting you to send your players to take part in the IBSF World under 18 and under21 Snooker Championships (Women and Men)

You should enter your player names into the IBSF web site using the password that was previously emailed to you. You can send up to 4 players in each competition and your players should be less than 18 or 21 years old by the 31st December 2015. Please note when uploading your player pictures that it is not less than 300 dpi.

An entry fee of US$ 70.00 per player must be paid to the IBSF on the first day of the championship. Under 18 players can also enter the under 21 Championships if they wish.

All players must present their passport to the Tournament Office before the start of the matches.


Accommodation and Venue:

Accommodation and Venue will be at Center Park : Leisure & Holidays Park & Cottages for families.

Name : Center Park MOL / Belgium

There is a nice lake and many sport-activities within the Center Park with free access to the residents.

Accommodation will be in Bungalows with 2, 3 or 4 bedrooms with Single or Twin rooms each:

2 Price offers will be based per person and per day as follows:

1. half-board (Bed, Breakfast + 1 meal) :

Single room € 90.00 / Pers. per day

Twin room € 72.00 / Pers. per day

2. Without any food (only bed):

Single room € 65.00 / Pers. per day

Twin room € 47.00 / Pers. per day

You’ll be invited to choose the following options:

* With or without food first – this option must be the same for the whole bungalow…!

* Number of Bungalows

* Number of persons and number of rooms

o Example for 9 Persons: No-Food, 2 Bungalows, 9 pers., 5 rooms. And you’ll get:

o 1 Bungalow with 3 rooms (1 single and 2 twin) + 1 Bungalow with 2 twin roomsVery Important: Bookings must be made ‘online’ through the IBSF website – No players will be allowed to enter the championships if they don’t stay at the Center Park in MOL.


International Referees:

Accommodation will be supplied on a twin share basis for all International Referees

Breakfast and one extra meal allowance to be offered to all International Invited Referees.

15 International Referees will be invited by the IBSF as follows: Asia: 5, Africa: 2, America: 1, Europe 5, Oceania: 2. Please send nomination of your referees to your regional referees association.

IBSF will give an extra allowance of $200 USD to each international referee.

Travel:

Name of International airports: Brussels International Airport also called Zaventem Airport

Transport: Yes – 25.00 Euros / Pers. for a return transport (Airport-Hotel-Airport)

Travel time from airport to hotel: 45 to 55 min.


Dresscode:

Please advice your players that the dress code will be strictly adhered to. All players must wear a waistcoat whilst playing.

Evening dress or dark-suit together with waist-coat shall be worn in all sessions of the matches.

Long-sleeve shirts buttoned at the wrist, waistcoats and bow-ties, shall be worn for all matches, save when the venue conditions are hot and humid, and, in which case, certain relaxation to dress-code requirements may be decided thereupon by the Championship Committee.

Players will be allowed to wear a sponsor’s logo on the waistcoat with a maximum size of 100 mm x 40 mm or 80 mm in diameter. The Host NSA will inform players if their logos may be worn during any televised stages of the Championship and that players wear them belonging to the Host NSA’s sponsor(s) at no cost to the players.

The Host NSA will decide the appropriate dress-code for any official functions.

Failure to comply with the prescribed dress-code may result in the forfeiture of the match by the players in default.

Visas: Visas are required by many countries. Please check with the Belgian embassy in your country.

Drug Testing: Players may be subjected to Drug testing in accordance with the WCBS Drugs in Sport Policy.
