The Masters team 1 of Nigel Power & Peter Donegan beat Scotland 1 in the semi-finals to qualify for the 2016 European Masters Team Championships final in Vilnius, Lithuania later on today.
The Irish team got off to a great start as Nigel won the opening frame but back came Scotland to win frame two and the doubles frame to lead 2-1. Nigel won his second singles frame to level the match at 2-2. Peter then won his second singles frame to give Ireland a 3-2 lead and be one frame away from the European Final.
In a tense Doubles frame it was the Irish pair who were unstoppable and they won it to win the match 4 frames to 2 and qualify for the European Masters Team Final against England later on today.
