61 year old Irishman Brendan Thomas has qualified for the Q-finals of the 2016 European EBSA Masters Singles Snooker Championships here in Vilnius, Lithuania when he beat his team mate John Torpey 4 frames to 1 in a great match tonight.
Brendan will now play Lee McAllister from Scotland for a place in the Semi Finals. Frank Sarsfield was beaten 4-0 by Jason Peplow from Malta. Pete Donegan was beaten by Darren Morgan from Wales 4 frames to 1 and Nigel Power was beaten by Simon Dent from England 4 frames to 1.
All the players should be very proud of their performances here in Lithuania as the standard was very high this year. Well done to all the Master Players !!!!!
