The RIBSA team of Michelle Sherwin and Claire Mill lost in the Q Finals of the 2016 EBSA Ladies Team Snooker Championships here in Vilnius, Lithuania this morning against Team Germany.
In the opening frame Michelle won it to lead 1-0, in the second frame Claire lost it and they also lost the Doubles frame. Michelle looked like levelling the match only to see her opponent clear the remaining colours to steal the frame and match 1-3
All the Irish teams should be very proud of themselves and having three Irish ladies teams in the 2016 European event is great for the development of the ladies game in Ireland.
Michelle, Claire and Paula Judge will now focus on the Ladies Singles later on today when the knock out stages begin.
