Noel Gleeson from the New Institute SC in Nenagh won the RIBSA Under 12 National Snooker Championship sponsored by the www.147academy.com in the Ivy Rooms Snooker Club in Carlow on Sunday the 8th of May.
In the final Noel beat Ryan McGuirk 3 frames to 2 in a fantastic final. Ryan led 2-0 but Noel fought back to win the title 3 frames to 2. The semi finals were played earlier this morning and Leone Crowley from Shooters SC lost 1-3 to Ryan McGuirk from Navan and Oisin Bateman from the Kilkenny Shed lost 2-3 to Noel Gleeson from the New Institute.
The highest break prize went to young Ryan McGuirk who made a 65 break in the Semi Finals
This event was sponsored by PJ Nolan’s 147academy and there was free entry to all the players. PJ said he was delighted to have his academy linked to this event and he was very proud of all the players.
