In the 2016 RIBSA Intermediate ladies snooker championship qualifiers 13 year old Nicoletti Flynn was first to book her place in the final dropping only 1 frame in the round-robin stage. Ronda Sheldreck and Katie French finished level on frames, so they had to have a 1 frame decider.
Ronda took a good early 20pt lead in this but Katie came back well at her to be 3 points ahead on the brown. After an in off by Katie Ronda had a simple blue to the yellow pocket, leaving herself a long pink into the far corner. She pot a screamer of a pink to win the frame and book her place in the final of the Intermediate Championships.
Well done to Nicoletti and Ronda for booking their place in the final which will be played on the 8th of May in the Ivy Rooms.
